Yet another cemetery has been devastated in Poland
Unknown perpetrators devastated the cemetery in Drużykowa (Southern Poland). "So far, we have received three reports of destruction and theft; it is possible that after the weekend, there will be more victims", commented Marta Wnuk, spokeswoman for the local District Police Headquarters.
It was not just an act of vandalism but theft. Decorative crosses and images of Jesus Christ have disappeared. On one of the graves, the vandals had to make a special effort because they tore the cross together with the pieces of marble.
There are glue marks in other places. There are also stumps of metal sticks sticking out of the tombstones, on which ornaments were attached – according to Zawiercie112.pl.
