LGBT group vandalized an Orthodox church in Greece

The Church of St. Achillius of Larissa was vandalized on the eve of the reading of the synodal circular of the Orthodox Church of Greece on the bill to legalize gay marriage.

Unknown perpetrators wrote slogans on the ground and walls directed against the Orthodox faith and Metropolitan Jerome personally.

One of the inscriptions says that “Greece is dying” and people live “in the hell of family, religion and priests.”

Elsewhere, the graffiti read: “No to violence, yes to lesbianism.” In front of the main entrance, vandals wrote vulgarities about Metropolitan Larisa and the Virgin Mary on the steps.
