A fire broke out in an Italian church

On May 30, a fire erupted in the Church of San Giorgio in Pagnano (Italy).

Fortunately, the damage was minimal as the fire, which originated from a wooden candle holder, was quickly extinguished. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but the priest suspects arson, as the candle holder, typically used for storing unlit candles, was empty, and no melted wax was found.

This incident is part of a troubling pattern; the church has recently experienced serious acts of vandalism and theft.
