A church was set ablaze in Ireland

The door to Our Lady and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ballymoney was set on fire on the night of the 19th of November.

Police were notified shortly after 9:45 pm that the side door of the church was on fire. Officers attended to the fire and were able to extinguish it before significant damage was caused.

On the Facebook page of the Ballymoney & Derrykeighan parish, we read that “a fire was started deliberately outside the doors of the old entrance at the back of the church.”

Local authorities appealed for anyone with information on the attack on a Ballymoney church to bring it forward.
