Several chapels vandalised in Italy
On the night of August 21st, unidentified individuals vandalized the church at the Sirena cemetery in Serina, Bergamo, and desecrated up to five private chapels within the cemetery grounds.
The perpetrators scattered and partially destroyed pews, religious items, flower pots, candles, and glass throughout the area.
The cemetery’s church, which serves as a burial site for priests, was also targeted.
The parish has lodged a complaint with the local police against the unknown individuals.
