Man charged with burglary and arson of Christian primary school in England
A 19-year-old man has been charged with burglary and arson following a huge fire at a West Yorkshire primary school.
Aaron Foster has been remanded in custody to appear before Bradford magistrates on the 3rd of February. It follows a blaze at Ash Green Primary School in Halifax on the 1st of February, which destroyed four classrooms.
Speaking to ITV News, the school director Mungo Sheppard commented the event by stating that it has been “the worst possible thing”, a “horrible night”, yet that the support from the emergency services “has been amazing”.
“We will have all our wonderful children back in as soon as we can,” he assured.
Thank you for all of your kind words. We really do appreciate it. It has been an emotional evening, but we will continue to work together as a team, to provide the best we can for our children! https://t.co/Y8eiuiktVw
