Three Christmas cribs burned in Belgium

Between December 12, 2019 and January 6, 2020, at least three different Christmas cribs have been intentionelly put on fire in Belgium. These attacks against the Christian symbols took place in Brussels and Verviers.

According to the prosecutor’s office of Hal-Vilvorde, it is very likely that the fire of the Christmas crisp was a criminal act.

“On Monday evening, a mother appeared saying that her 12-year-old son and 11-year-old friend were responsible for the incident,” said the prosecutor.

Similar cases of Chrismtmas cribs on fire have also been reported in France like the one that took place on Christmas day in Chilly-Mazarin (near Paris) and injuring two people.
