An attack in Kaduna State causes three fatal casualties

The Irigwe Development Association (IDA) in Kaduna State, Nigeria said three of its members were killed by suspected Fulani militants this week. Three other villagers survived gunshot wounds.

Community leaders said the attack occurred in Kigam Village, Kauru County, around 9 p.m. on Monday evening. The assailants fired indiscriminately in the village.

“The Nigeria army arrived in the community hours after the attack to take records,” a community official told International Christian Concern (ICC).

Prince Robert Ashi Dodo, the IDA national president described the attack as barbaric, inhumane, and condemned it in the strongest terms. He called on the security agencies to quickly apprehend the perpetrators.
