A Nigerian priest was abducted on his way to his father’s funeral
A Catholic priest was abducted on the 15th of December while travelling to his father's funeral in the village of Igboukwu, Nigeria.
Fr. Valentine Oluchukwu Ezeagu, belongs to the Congregation of the Sons of Mary Mother of Mercy (SMMM), and he was kidnapped yesterday by four armed men, on his way to his father’s funeral.
The funeral mass takes place today, on the 16th of December, and his father’s body will be buried tomorrow, on the 17th of December.
The General House asks for prayers for his “immediate release” so that he can attend his father’s funeral.
