Christian persecution is booming in Asia

According to Pew Research Center, there were 286 million Christians in Asia in 2010. The majority of them are subject to persecution, especially in those countries where they usually form a religious minority.
In South-East Asia, Muslim countries have toughened their laws against Christian minorities. However, Christians in Asia are legally persecuted, that is not only are they dominated by Islamic culture and law (Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, etc.), but Communist regimes also attack them. North Korea or Hinduistic India are also examples, where new laws curtail religious freedom and target Christians in particular.
One of the bloodiest attacks targeting Christians was perpetrated in Sri Lanka in 2019, where 200 Christians were slain during Easter. We also have the example of the bombing of the Jolo Cathedral in the Philippines, where twenty Christians were killed.
In India, while most mainstream Western media denounce the Islamophobia going on in India, few care about the terrible fate of the those who converted to Christianity and are regularly attacked, persecuted or even killed by federated states in the name of “anti-proselytism” laws.
