The repression of Christians continues in Cuba

Eduardo Cardet, national coordinator of the Movimiento Cristiano Liberación (Christian Liberation Movement), was seen once again prohibit leaving his country. Despite his valid passport and the necessary visa, the border police prohibited him from flying on January 25 to the United States.
While questioning the pandora on the reason for this ban, he was told that he “must know the reason”, without further details. Sentenced to three years in prison in 2017, for belonging to a hostile movement of the Communist regime, he was granted parole in May 2019 and served his sentence the following September. He was therefore now free to move in Cuba and elsewhere.
This is a new arbitrary decision by the communist regime. The Movimiento Cristiano Liberación reported on its website in December that State Security had summoned Eduardo Cardet on Christmas Day to tell him “that the development of his organization was prohibited” and that the regime would have “no tolerance for the opposition ”.
