The European Parliament endorses abortion and gender ideology
The Annual Report on Human Rights and Democracy in the World believes that EU countries should ratify the Istanbul Gender Convention and allow easier access to abortion.
In its 2018 report, the European Parliament once again promotes the term “sexual and reproductive rights”, which covers the demand for expanding access to abortion. The authors of the resolution also postulate the adoption by the European Union of the Istanbul gender convention by the EU.
The European Parliament’s resolution also made controversial statements sating for instance that “difficulties in accessing sexual and reproductive health constitute an unacceptable violation of fundamental human rights”.
In addition, the EP condemned “violations of women’s reproductive and sexual rights, including refusal of access to relevant services”. It is essential to keep in mind that the term “reproductive and sexual rights” has never been adopted in any applicable international treaty.
