A Mass in Italy was interrupted by vandals with pepper spray
During Sunday Mass at the Church of Santa Maria al Soccorso, unidentified individuals disrupted the service by spraying a pungent substance, believed to be pepper spray.
The intense odor forced the parish priest to halt the mass and complete it outside. The perpetrators fled the scene.
The irritating fumes, which affected the eyes and throat, quickly filled the church, prompting the congregation to evacuate. Firefighters and police were called to address the situation.
A comparable incident occurred recently at a supermarket on Via Anna Kuliscioff in Maliseti.
