Church facade vandalized in Italy
The church of Santa Lucia has been vandalized, with the first three letters of its name ripped off.
“We discovered this serious act of sacrilege this morning,” said Franco Spiga, president of the Guild of Masons of Santa Lucia. “They tore part of the sign off, threw it to the ground, and shattered it.”
Spiga further explained, “I went to the Police Headquarters to report the incident, though regrettably, this is not the first time we’ve faced vandalism.”
