A statue of Mary was vandalised for a second time in a Hungarian town
On New Year's Eve a newly restored statue of Mary was vandalised for the second time in Dunavecse, Hungary.
Unknown perpetrators smashed the head of the statue and trampled on the broken fragments. The statue, which had been renovated due to a previous attack, was supposed to be reconsecrated on the 1st of January.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Dunavecse announced that the consecration would be postponed and a candlelight Mass was held instead.
