Ten graves vandalised in a Quebec cemetery

In early September, a dozen tombstones were unsealed and overturned in the parish cemetery of Saint-Georges de Sartigan, in the eponymous town located in the Beauce region in Quebec.

The layman who manages the parish emphasized in local media that “Quebec is very involved in the ‘co-management’ of the Church with the laity, which does not in any way slow down the advanced dechristianisation, the shortage of priests and the slow death of the Church in the country.”

The latter example shows that anti-Christian acts remain a widespread plague across Canada.
