Innocent Christians arrested in Pakistan for protesting against terrorism
Three years ago, two Churches were bombed in the town of Lahore in Yohanabad, Pakistan killing and injuring many innocent Christian worshipers. After the attack, Christians, who protested against terrorism and the lack of government intervention, were arrested instead of receiving support.
After the bomb blast, Christians protested against terrorism and the failure of the government to protect them. Instead of helping them, the Pakistani government arrested all innocent Christian protesters and charged them with terrorism.
More than forty protesters were arrested; almost half of them died in prison due to torture. The remaining Christian prisoners are being forced to convert to Islam. They have been promised release from prison should they agree to convert.
