State Secretary Tristan Azbej visited the European Commission

Janez Lenarcic, European Commissioner for Crisis Management, received Azbej Tristan, Hungarian State Secretary for Support for Persecuted Christians and for the Implementation of the Hungary Helps programme, in the European Commission.
After his visit, Tristan Azbej wrote about a “Hungarian success in Brussels” in his Facebook post.
The Hungarian State Secretary participated in a meeting with Janez Lenarcic, European Commissioner for Crisis Management, and argued for helping communities outside of the European continent in cooperation with the local Churches. According to Tristan Azbej, this is the most effective way to stop migration.
In his recent Facebook post, Azbej rejoices that “Following the example of Hungary Helps program, Church and religious organisations can finally receive special attention as potential beneficiaries of EU grants”. He also writes, “we are breaking the hypocritical practice of political correctness that has always prevented Christian communities from receiving international humanitarian aid”.
The Hungarian politician paid a visit to the European Commission right after his humanitarian journey in Ghana, where he opened a renovated school and a medical centre.
