A drunken man interrupted the Holy Mass in a Polish town

During the Monday Mass, a thirty-eight-year-old man with a dummy weapon threatened a priest celabrating Mass in the Polish town of Duszniki-Zdrój.

The man approached the altar and spoke to the clergyman, then pointed an object that looked like a weapon at him. The priest took refuge in the sacristy and the faithful overpowered the attacker. He, however, escaped from the church but was captured again after several minutes by local policemen.

The attacker was found to have a very high amount of alcohol in his blood. He has been placed in custody.
