A church was repeatedly vandalised in Malmö, Sweden

Evangelical lutheran church

An Evangelical Lutheran Church, in the district of Västra Skrävlinge, in Malmö, Sweden, was attacked for seven consecutive days.

The series of attacks started on the 18th of August. During that week, a sculpture depicting Jesus was destroyed inside the church, and the windows were broken by stones. Following the attempt, liturgical services were suspended for some time to allow the church to be cleared of the broken glass and the debris that had accumulated on the benches.

The officials of the church have already hired a security company to supervise the building at night.

Police are investigating in the case; the perpetrators have yet to be found.
