The police of Bangladesh are suspecting a terrorist attack in the next few days

Some evidence found by the authorities of Bangladesh is referring to an upcoming terrorist attack during the Eid-ul-Azha festivities, carried out by Bangla Ulayat, a new wing of the Islamic State.

Eid-ul-Azha is an Islamic holiday between the 30th of July and the 5th of August. The authorities of Bangladesh were informed that a jihadist organization, the Bangla Ulayat (Bangladesh wing of ISIS) is planning a terrorist attack during the holiday, on the first of August.

On the 24th of July, the terrorist group exploded a bomb in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Fortunately, nobody died due to this attack, but the police found evidence that referred to another possible attack in the next days.

“As August is coming, we have to be prepared, because the number of terrorist attacks is multiplying in this month, as the terrorists want to use the crowds at the festivities”, declared Haider Ali Khan, vice-inspector-general of the police.

The authorities reinforced the surveillance of airports, embassies, mosques, and, above all, of churches. Furthermore, hotels are obligated to collect significant information about all of their guests and deliver it to the local authorities.

According to the police, the terrorists of Bangla Ulayat are males between the ages of 15 and 30y ears old.
