Italian church desecrated by vandals

Unknown individuals desecrated the church of San Giuseppe in Melito Porto Salvo, Reggio, damaging security cameras, breaking into the premises, stealing a consecrated host and scattering others.

Additionally, a sacred vessel was stolen. Authorities are investigating this incident, noting similarities to a recent sacrilege in Bovalino Superiore.

In that case, the Church of Santa Maria ad Nives was vandalized but later reconsecrated in a ceremony led by Bishop Francesco Oliva.

Vincenzo Speziali, a local politician, has raised concerns about a potential connection to satanic sect activities.
