Hungary Helps in Ukraine – photos in the article
Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Hungary Helps Program, shared in a Facebook post that he had led a humanitarian mission to the Transcarpathia, Ukraine, to supervise the humanitarian assistance offered by Hungary Helps.
In the post, he writes that he met local charitable partners and Church leaders and ascertained what kind of help the people living in war-torn areas needed.
“Whoever I met, charity workers, internal refugees, Ukrainian and Hungarian people all thanked the Hungarian government, NGOs and each Hungarian people for the support. According to them, this aid was essential to stay in their home country despite the war”, he writes on Facebook.
