Children desacrated nearly 70 graves in a French cemetary
Two children are suspected by the police of having stoned 68 of the 243 graves in the Guitté cemetery, near Caulnes, on the 29th of January in the afternoon.
“Memories placed on the tombstones have been desecrated. The facts took place Saturday afternoon, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. There were no racist, anti-Semitic, ethnic or other claims. No family was specifically targeted. It is purely free degradation. We are 100% sure of that,” a police officer told the local press.
Such acts of vandalism are commonplace nowadays in France.
