Historic church ravaged by fire in Minneapolis
The Church of the Sacred Heart, located northeast of Minneapolis, was devastated by fire on the 20th of April. Even though no evidence of this has been shown by now, some observers affirm that radicals related to the Black Lives Matter movement are to blame for this disaster.
On the same day, the city centre was rocked by violent protests around the courthouse, where the trial of Derek Chauvin, a police officer accused of killing George Floyd in May 2020.
After a very long counting process amid protests and riots on Capitol Hill, the trial led to the recognition of the guilt of Derek Chauvin, who faces twelve and a half years in prison for murder.
