French pro-lifers organised remarkable advertising campaign in Paris

"Let's make history!" This is the slogan of the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation's information campaign. This pro-life organisation, with its original campaign conducted on the means of transport, wants to arouse the curiosity and interest of Parisians.
Advertising posters appeared on the morning of the 18th of March in the Paris metro. The billboards show children with Down syndrome posed as General Charles de Gaulle, Charlie Chaplin, Edith Piaf, Napoleon or famous sportsmen. The campaign is linked to International Down Syndrome Day, celebrated on the 21st of March every year.
“Every life is a story and this campaign is designed to act as a springboard for all children with Down’s syndrome to achieve their goals. These children can teach us a lot, ”explains Jean-Marie Le Méné, president of the Jérôme Foundation.
She adds that these children have “an intelligence in their hearts that is not limited by all our social codes, so they teach us how to put children back at the heart of our society that is obsessed with rationality. They remind us of human weakness, but also of development ”.
