A church in Southern Poland vandalised by masked individual

A vulgar inscription and thre number "666" were painted by a masked vandal on Tuesday evening on the walls of the church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Opole-Gosławice (Southern Poland).

The parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Opole-Gosławice reported the vandalism on its social media profile.

“Yesterday (9th of March) at 8:11 p.m. a young man wearing a black extended jacket and a baseball cap decided to express his indignation on the facade of our church,” the entry reads.

The parish asked for information if anyone had seen the culprit. It was also assured that the case would be referred to the police.
