A church in Berlin vandalised with pro-abortion slogans

The Catholic Church of St. Elizabeth in Berlin has been targeted by vandals who smeared pro-abortion slogans on it with paint.

The local parish priest announced on the parish website that red inscriptions in English appeared on the temple’s facade: “My body, my choice.”

“This act of violence and an attempt to intimidate people who think differently worries our parish”, wrote Fr. Josef Wieneke. The priest pointed out that the money spent on repairing the damage could be used, for example, for charity or social purposes.

“Regardless of the attacks, the Church’s priority will always be to promote a culture of life,” stressed the priest and announced a prayer for the perpetrators.
