Five churches were set on fire within four days in Kenya

This January, five churches were set on fire in the course of four days in Otamba, Southern Kenya. Responsibility for the attacks still have not been claimed by any terrorist group.

On the 20th of January, early in the morning, the Sainte-Monique of Kisii Church was set on fire. The day after, three other places of worship were set on fire: the Worldwide Church, the Church of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the Church of the Legion of Mary. Finally, on the 24th of January, a fifth church, the Church of Pentecost was also set ablaze.

The arsonists painted a design representing two people and a cross on the first burnt church. Furthermore, some houses have also been set on fire in the surrounding area in recent days. Again, no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
