Hungarian football club to support persecuted Christians

The FTC Hungarian football club this year qualified in football Champions League. After this success, the club finalised an agreement with the Prime Minister's Office State Secretariat for Assisting Persecuted Christians and Implementing the Hungary Helps Program about participating in the humanitarian activity of Hungary Helps Program.


According to the agreement, the FTC football club, within an organised framework, provides an opportunity for the members of “Scholarship Program for Christian Youth” in Hungary. Furthermore, the club supports Christian teams in countries that are persecuted with sports equipment.

Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for Assisting Persecuted Christians and Implementing Hungary Helps Program declared: “It is an honour that the Hungarian football club with it great history can participate in our humanitarian activity, that recently became a great mission for us”.
