Christian couple released in Somaliland

After a prolonged juridical process, the couple was deported to Somaliland. They are now living in a safe country along with their children.
As earlier reported, on the 21st of September, the Somalian police searched the house of a Christian couple who had been reported for ‘suspicious activity’. The police found Christian writings in the home of the family and arrested the parents of three children.
The couple has been brought before the court many times in October, and finally, on the 1st of November, the regional court ordered their deportation.
According to their advocate, they were deported to Somalia with their youngest child on the 5th of November. Later, they met with their other children and they were transported to a safe country.
