DRC: Seventeen people killed and a church desecrated in Benin

At least seventeen people died in an attack, attributed to ADF rebels in the village of Lisasa, in the Rwenzori sector (Benin territory) in North Kivu, on the 31st of October.
The leader of the local community said after the attack:
“It was around one in the morning, in the village of Lisasa, 18 km east from Kalunguta. ADF arrived, they attacked a UPLC camp (a Mai-Mai group) in Lisasa. Witnesses say that there were many, some fought against the militiamen, while others had already entered the community where they looted and killed.”
The terrorists have also attacked a medical centre, kidnapped a nurse, and then desecrated a Catholic church.
It was the second deadly attack, registered in the village, after the 20th of October when 1,300 prisoners invaded the community.
