Statue of Jesus desecrated in Los Angeles

On the 24th of September, a statue of Jesus was desecrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Cathedral in Baton Rouge, Los Angeles.

The white statue stands outside the church and depicts the resurrected Jesus giving a blessing.

The vandals probably belong to the Black Lives Matter organisation, because they objected to the colour of the statue. They have written on its forehead with a black marker “White Jesus”, and have drawn a swastika under the writing. The statue was also graffitied with obscene sentences, like “f*** you” and “The real Jesus was black and hated pigs”.
