Blessed Sacrament stolen in North Carolina

Unknown blasphemers stole the tabernacle with the Blessed Sacrament from the church of Saint Elizabeth in Boone, North Carolina.

The church cantor from the parish, Matthew Mallon, pointed out that the thieves did not take other much lighter, materially valuable objects, including a monstrance, adorned with precious stones. Parishioners pray for the safe return of the Blessed Sacrament.

The theft of the Blessed Sacrament is becoming an increasingly frequent phenomenon. In May 2019, Life Site News reported nine consecrated hosts were put up for sale on the internet. The seller explained that the host would be used for rituals of black magic.
