Four people killed by militants including pastor of ECWA church in Nigeria

On the 8th of April, gunmen believed to be Fulani militants attacked the Ngbra-Zongo village in the Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, International Christian Concern reported yesterday.
During this attack, the gunmen killed at least four people, including the pastor of the local ECWA church, ICC has learned. The attackers continued the assault for over an hour and then escaped; security forces did not respond.
In June of 2017, over two hundred people were killed in a two-day attack at the Bassa Local Government area. There was only minimal action taken by the authorities, and none of the attackers has ever been held accountable.
This assault is especially worrisome as Plateau state is going into total lockdown tonight due to the coronavirus, COVID-19. Because of this, many of the locals will be confined to their homes and potentially exposed to further attacks, ICC wrote.
