Islamists killed Christians in Cabo Delgado
The Christians fell victims of different attacks during the span of two weeks. They are the latest on the long list of victims of the Islamic State Mozambique.
Islamic State media reported on the killing of four Christians by the fighters of Islamic State Mozambique (IS-M). The killings were carried out in a span of two weeks in the first half of November in Muidumbe District of Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. Cabo Delgado province has a long history of Islamist violence. The terror of IS-M has already claimed countless lives in Mozambique, especially in Cabo Delgado.
The first killing of the month happened on November 3, when Islamists captured two Christians and executed them. The third victim died on November 7 during a machine gun raid by the fighters of IS-M. The fourth Christian was captured the same day, held captive, and executed on November 9. Since 2017, IS-M has killed thousands of people and works closely with Islamic State Central Africa Province. Both of the organizations are coordinated from the command center of the Islamic State in Somalia.
