Two Christian women killed in Holy Family Parish in Gaza

On Saturday Israeli military entered the Holy Family Catholic Parish in Gaza, on the grounds that a missile launcher is in the parish.

On Saturday Israeli military killed two women, named: Nahida and Samar. Both of them are Christians who stayed at the Holy Family Parish just as many Christians have since the start of the war.

In a statement released by the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, it was confirmed that both of them were killed by an Israeli sniper inside the premises of the Parish. They walked to the Sisters’ Convent when Nahida was shot. Her daughter Samar tried to help her mother and that is when she was killed as well. The statement from the Patriarchate also noted that there are no belligerents in the area of the parish and called this awful event a “senseless tragedy”.
