The Israeli Defence Forces confirmed that four rounds of over 150 rockets, cruise missiles, and drones had been fired. This has been the deepest attack from Hezbollah since the beginning of the war. The Lebanese terror group focused on raiding the Ramat David airforce base as retaliation for recent Israeli assignments in Beirut, in which many of their top commanders were killed.

During the airstrike six people were injured in Emek Jezreel, and they were transferred to the Emek Medical Center in Afula. Magen David Adom medical teams were called to treat four civilians with shrapnel injuries – three elderly citizens and a 16-year-old girl. The rockets hit two houses in Kiryat Bialik. Due to the panic the airstrike caused, many car crashes occurred and one person was killed in an accident. 

American Evangelical leader Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders posted on social media: “Another barrage of Hezbollah rockets at Nazareth. The hometown of Jesus, a town which is 70% Muslim & 30% Christian and almost entirely Arab. For months Hezbollah has been targeting Galilee, the geographic heart of Jesus’ ministry. Many of Hezbollah’s rockets are flying into Arab areas of Israel, threatening as many Muslims and Christians as Jews.”

Miha Schwartzenberg, a writer and former journalist mourned the loss of lives and sent her condolences to all the families affected by the horrors of war: “Almost 80 000 people live there. Families, children. … As we speak, they are all in shelters. A situation that NO COUNTRY in the world would find it acceptable. God bless the IDF and Israel for fighting to protect the Muslim, the Christians, the Jews and everyone else living in Israel, in Gaza, in Lebanon. Don’t be surprised that I mention the enemies too – NOBODY is protecting their lives more than ISRAEL. Any single casualty in any of these countries is on the terrorists hands, sick minds and military capabilities supported entirely by the most dangerous regime in the Middle East – Iran.”

The Israeli Defence Forces will continue to launch massive airstrikes on Hezbollah. The Home Front Command issued new defensive guidelines, limiting gatherings to 30 people outdoors and 300 indoors from Haifa and the north. All educational institutions have been closed.
