Jordan Peterson warns of woke ideology infiltrating Protestant churches
Canadian psychologist and cultural commentator Jordan Peterson recently voiced concerns about the spread of what he termed "woke" ideology within Protestant churches, cautioning that many Christian institutions are drifting away from their foundational values in favor of current cultural trends, to society's detriment.
During an interview with The Christian Post at the premiere of the film Am I Racist?, featuring his Daily Wire colleague Matt Walsh, the 62-year-old author highlighted the widespread display of rainbow flags outside Protestant churches as a symbol of this shift.
He argued that it reflects a broader departure from core Christian principles in favor of what he described as “hedonistic pride.”
“We should be alarmed by the takeover of Protestant churches by the woke rainbow movement,” Peterson stated. “In Canada and Great Britain, most mainstream Protestant churches are draped in rainbow flags. When Christians begin to worship hedonistic pride, something has gone seriously wrong.”
