The ECLJ will turn to court due to the scandalous Olympic opening ceremony
"They humiliated French culture and conducted anti-Christian propaganda at the opening of the Paris Olympic Games, therefore the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) will turn to court," said Grégor Puppinck, a French constitutional lawyer.
The leader of the ECLJ expressed that the organizers’ goal was not to showcase “great French civilization,” but rather a distorted, cosmopolitan France that President Macron would prefer. He said they portrayed a “woke chaos” at the opening.
“They showed what they want to present to the outside world in the future, this is their dream of France. And not what France really is, the France whose culture the peoples of the world love,” said the French constitutional lawyer.
According to Grégor Puppinck, the French government used the Olympic opening ceremony to conduct anti-Christian propaganda. He emphasized the need to protest against the scene depicting Jesus and the 12 apostles. He stressed that one must not remain silent when the authorities attack culture, including Christian culture.
Puppinck stated they will protest to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) because the organizers did not respect the organization’s request. He argued that political or religious propaganda should not take precedence on such occasions.
The constitutional lawyer added that they are exploring the possibility of going to court with other organizations, including Hungarian ones. He emphasized that it is crucial now to openly stand against the Olympic opening ceremony.
Grégor Puppinck reaffirmed the thoughts that the organizers would not have dared to do this against Muslim culture, as they would have to hide for their entire lives. He explained that the French left has always supported Muslims because they help them gain power and divide society.
He recalled that the day of the Olympic opening ceremony was also the birthday of Father Jacques Hamel, the priest whose head was cut off by a Muslim in a church in 2016.
