Candace Owens slams media for ignoring a “Christian holocaust”

Conservative political commentator Candace Owens recently argued that the global persecution of Christians receives insufficient media attention compared to the extensive coverage of Israel.

In an interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” that aired last week, Owens responded to a question from Morgan about her lack of an immediate tweet regarding the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel.

On that day, 1,163 people, including 31 Americans, were killed, and around 240 were taken hostage in Gaza. Owens acknowledged the attack by Hamas was “absolutely horrific” but stated that the U.S. should avoid involvement in Israeli affairs, emphasizing that the suffering of Christians worldwide is underreported compared to the conflict in Israel.

Owens, who has faced accusations of antisemitism even from her former colleague Andrew Klavan, explained that her first concern is for Christians because she is one.
