Deadly Myanmar junta attack on hospital
The Myanmar military junta carried out an airstrike on a rebel-controlled hospital. Four people died and fifteen were wounded as a result of the attack.
The air force of the Myanmar military junta carried out an attack on a rebel group-held hospital in Mindat township, Chin state. The People’s Administration, an anti-junta group administering the hospital, said that four people died and fifteen were wounded, including patients and staff.
Yaw Man, a spokesperson for the rebel group, said,
“They dropped six 150-pound bombs. The hospital was totally destroyed. There are 15 wounded, four dead.”
In the region, the air-force hit multiple villages at the same time. Since the military coup in 2021 Chin state, and it’s relatively large Christian population is constantly the target of military attacks.
