Armed attack on a Pentecostal church in Pakistan
On the 5th of September at around 2:30 p.m. a group of Muslim activists attacked a mass by shooting at the faithful with automatic weapons, in the New Hope Church (Pentecostal) in Lahore, Sheracote district.
There are several seriously injured including the pastor and a pregnant woman.
The secretary of Pakistan’s Minority Rights Commission responded to the attacks, saying that despite government efforts, “ incidents and abuses against minorities have increased by 40% in the past three years ”.
