Fifteen students abducted in Nigeria’s latest school attack

On Sunday, gunmen raided the College of Agriculture and Animal Science in the Bakura Local Government Area of Nigeria’s Zamfara state.

 

The Deputy Registrar of the college, Aliyu Bakura, told BBC Hausa on Monday morning that a police officer and three gatemen were killed in the attack, though ICC has yet to confirm this number.

According to Daily Post Nigeria, the Deputy Provost of the College, Ali Atiku, told newsmen on Monday that two staff members and one student escaped from the kidnappers’ den. He said, “Two staff and one student escaped from the bandits after they kidnapped them and returned to the school early this morning.

As I am talking to you now, we have formally discovered that the bandits have kidnapped fifteen students all of them male, three women and one person who are also our staff and killed two of our security watchmen.”
