Catholic parish attacked, parish priest and faithful murdered in eastern Nigeria

The Saint-Paul of Aye Twar Parish, in eastern Nigeria's Benu state, was attacked during a Mass on the 30th of March by armed men.
The attackers murdered the parish priest, Ferdinand Fanen Ngugban, and six faithful.
Many houses were also set on fire in the village by the jihadist group. The murdered priest had dedicated himself to receiving displaced people. These people usually fled other Nigerian villages, where their lives were in danger because of jihadist terrorist groups.
