The fifty-two-year-old Vietnamese woman and her twenty-three-year-old son had to leave their home after converting to Christianity.

They converted to Christianity in January; the husband learned about their conversion in February through his wife. When he found out that they were Christians, he attacked them both,  banished them from the home and denounced them to the police.

The local police and authorities told the woman and her son that they would be expelled from the village if they continued praying to Jesus. They secretly continued going to the church in another village, but the authorities found out, and they were sent away from the village.
