Two churches vandalised in Western Poland
Vandals have recently damaged two churches in the Polish region of Lower Silesia. In both cases, the suspects were arrested. Police officers from the city of Zgorzelec detained a twenty-six-year-old man suspected of destroying windows and a stained glass window in one of the churches in the district.
According to the police officers, two men consumed alcohol for several hours in the area adjacent to the church. After the party ended, one of them started throwing stones and empty bottles at the church for no reason.
Another act of church vandalism took place in the district of Wołów. On the walls of the temple in Stary Wołów and on the front of the cross, located at the main gate, the perpetrator smeared hate symbols and content offending religious feelings.
