On October 14, a young Christian named Justine Patrick and two of his friends were traveling home from the farms where they worked. According to the report, Justine and his friends were then attacked by Fulani, who hacked Justine to death with machetes. A local resident named Ruth Pam told  that “Patrick’s companions, Daniel Gyang and Sele Dung, escaped being killed by the armed herdsmen.”

It is unclear at this time if the two friends were even hurt in the attack, or if they escaped with no injuries. The death of Justine however, is another example of the attacks that have plagued Nigeria for the past several decades.
