Pan-African activists call for dissolution of the Catholic Church

Operating in France since 2018, the Black Defense League (LDNA), whose official goal is to "fight racism and promote pan-Africanism", is now demanding the dissolution of the Catholic Church as "compensation for slavery and colonisation."
“Soon the day will come when LDNA will receive just satisfaction for all atrocities committed and allowed by France to our ancestors,” the Black Defense League of Africa wrote on Twitter.
They further suggested that “even the Catholic Church will have to be dissolved after paying compensations.”
On the 24th of June, LDNA leaders violently attacked the memory of General Charles de Gaulle. “He was not only a criminal, but also a fugitive during World War II,” they wrote on social media.
This point of view, however, is not shared by another “anti-racist” organisation – the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICRA), which stated: “We begin with the desecration of statues and end with repeating the entire Vichy propaganda against de Gaulle. Disturbing stupidity, lies and dishonour, ” LICRA wrote.
