George Soros revealed “the project of his life”
During the 50th World Economic Forum in Davos, billionaire George Soros announced that he would fund a network of universities that would promote "democratic values".
During the meeting in Switzerland, Soros emphasized that the purpose of his actions was to hit dictators or leaders who are heading to dictatorship. He mentioned Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
The global university network (OSUN), supported by the Open Society Foundation (controlled by Soros), is to support research and the teaching process of “democratic values”. The goal of the project is also to promote open borders. According to Forbes, any university can apply to the network, and the network will be based on the already existing Central European University (CEU).
Soros declared that a billion dollars would be donated to the creation of this network of universities.
In Davos, the billionaire also explained that the creation of this educational platform is to be “the most important project of his life”.
